SALVATORE INFANTINO

    Salvatore “Sam” Infantino, 86, of East Columbus Avenue, Pittston, died
   
Sunday at Hospice Care of the VNA, Heritage House, Wilkes-BarreBorn Dec.
17, 1912, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Giusepina
(Chiarelli) Infantino.
   
A life resident of Pittston, he was a member of St. Rocco’s R.C. Church,
Pittston.
   
He operated Infantino’s Barber Shop, with his brother, Charles, for 26
years. He later operated his own barber shop in Hughestown for 47 years.
   
He was a member of the Montedoro Society in Pittston.
   
He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Charles Infantino; and
sister, Rose Terrana.
   
Surviving are his wife, Mary Rizzo Infantino; son, Joseph S. Infantino,
Pittston; daughter, Joanne Catina, Pittston; four grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Graziano Funeral
Home, Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rocco’s R.C. Church, Pittston.
   
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Pittston Township.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.—–
