WILKES-BARRE — A woman was charged with endangering the welfare of her children after police say she chased an ex-boyfriend through Wilkes-Barre Saturday.

Police say the ex-boyfriend, who made the call to police, said Regina Lawton, 30, of Edwardsville, was chasing him in a vehicle around 6:14 p.m. Saturday throughout the city. The vehicles were located on State Street, near Wilkes-Barre City Police Department Headquarters.

The victim told officers that Lawton had struck his vehicle while driving.

Lawton was found to have her children, ages 13, 9 and 1, in the car while she was chasing the victim.

Lawton was placed into custody and she was remanded to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.

Arrangements regarding the custody of her children were made.
