PLAINS TWP. — State police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement charged Robert J. Matlock, 41, with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly cashed out slot credits that belonged to another patron inside the Mohegan Sun Casino on Friday.

A woman playing a slot machine had $210 in credits when she was distracted by her husband at about 8:55 p.m. When she returned, someone had cashed out the credits, according to the criminal complaint.

Surveillance video allegedly recorded Matlock print out a voucher from the slot machine and cash the voucher, the complaint says.

Matlock was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
