WILKES-BARRE — City police responded to a reported shooting on Parrish Street around 7 p.m. Friday.

An officer was seen placing an evidence marker on the roadway near the intersection with Brown Street.

Police entered a side door on the first floor of a building at 133 Parrish St. that housed the Sharp Cuts 2 barber shop and apartments.

No further details on what happened were available late Friday.
