HAZLETON — State Police in Hazleton are investigating the robbery of the Verizon Wireless retail store on Airport Road on Sunday afternoon.


Police say that two male suspects entered the store at approximately 12:55 p.m. Both suspects, one of which had a firearm, allegedly stole an undetermined amount of cell phones and tablets from the store.


Police say one suspect concealed his identity by wearing some sort of white cloth. He appeared to be approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build and was wearing a white shirt under a jacket with dark pants. Police believe the suspect was Hispanic.


The second suspect was a white male who wore a red ski mask. Police described him as approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a husky build wearing a black hooded jacket, jeans and black shoes. Police say this suspect had the gun wore a black glove on his right hand.
