Some of them are dreamers. Some of them are believers. Some just want their chance in the spotlight.

The first-everOld Forge Challenger basketball game, “For Love of the Game,” was held April 5 and 6 at Old Forge High School and it brought out the best in area athletes.

The Blue Team and the Yellow Team were each made up of four participating players. And, fittingly, the game ended in a tie — everybody won.

The Blue Team was made up of Justin McDonnell, Tyler Oliveri, Jacob Stoudt and Jocelyn Hdrrera. The Yellow Team members were Taylor Kostage, Jacob Levesque, John Soucek and Randilyn Crane.

This event was an opportunity for special needs children in grades three through six to play basketball. No experience was necessary, but lots of fun was guaranteed.
