The United States Bowling Conference recently recognized two local youth bowlers for posting perfect 300 games during the 2012-2013 season.

Brian Mapes and Conrad Chapple were presented with official USBC 300 rings at their annual awards banquet at the Ramada Inn in Wilkes Barre. Conrad was also recognized for a three-game series of 801.

Both Mapes and Chappel are members of Modern Lanes Youth Bowling League in Exeter. Both are students at Wyoming Area.

Mapes, also a member of the Wyoming Area Baseball team, graduated this year. Chapple just completed his sophomore year.

Mapes is the son of Brian Mapes Sr. and Tracie Mapes, of Wyoming. Chapple is the son of Dave and Carol Chapple, of West Pittston.
