Andrew Tuminello scored the lone goal of the game as the King’s men’s soccer team pulled out a 1-0 victory over Freedom Conference rival Misericordia on Wednesday.
Barry Fitzgerald had two stops in the net for the Cougars.

The Colonels suffered a defeat at the hands of Delaware Valley in Freedom Conference play. Wilkes heads back on the road Saturday afternoon to face DeSales.
Misericordia 3, King’s 0
Misericordia scored a Freedom Conference sweep of the Lady Monarchs, winning 25-21, 27-25, 25-12.
Kellyn Swanson led the Cougars with 10 kills and four blocks while Kate Stuessy added seven kills and three blocks.
Tia Rex had two aces for King’s while Mary Loughran had 17 assists.
Franklin & Marshall 2, Misericordia 1
The Cougars got a goal from Hannah Harvey as Misericordia challenged fifth-ranked Franklin & Marshall.
Lindsay Hischak picked up an assist for the Cougars.
Susquehanna 2, Wilkes 1
Ashley Ream scored an unassisted goal in the second half in Wilkes’ narrow loss on Tuesday.
Alexis Reed recorded six saves in goal for the Lady Colonels.
Misericordia 6, King’s 0
Megan Mahoney and Megan Lannigan scored two goals apiece to lead No. 12 Misericordia on Tuesday. Kylen Smith and Lindsay Hoover each added a goal in the win.
Maureen Cicciosanti Kelly Mott combined for the shutout in goal for the Cougars.
Wilkes 0, Delaware Valley 0
Wilkes launched 31 shots including 16 on goal, but couldn’t convert on any as the Lady Colonels played Delaware Valley to a scoreless tie Tuesday.
Wilkes’ defense didn’t allow a shot on goal in the shutout.
