    John F. Hock Jr., 53, of Middle Road, Nanticoke, died Sunday in Mercy
   
Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn April 29, 1940, in Plymouth, he was the son of
the late John and Martha Peters Hock.
   
He was self-employed as owner and operator of Jack’s Bar, Nanticoke. Before
that, he was employed by Blue Ribbon Bakery, Wilkes-Barre.
   
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany and at Tobyhanna
Signal Corps Depot.
   
He was a past president and member of the Nanticoke Lions Club.
   
Surviving are his wife, the former Dolores Shipierski; sister, Mrs. Nancy
Gustas, Plymouth; nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from S.J.
Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Donald
Gilmore, pastor of Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, Plymouth,
officiating.
   
There will be no calling hours.
