WILKES-BARRE- A motorcyclist received several citations Monday after he
struck a Kingston woman’s car from behind, police said.
   
Robert Bernhardt struck Linda Adelson’s 1988 Buick as both drivers were
exiting the Orloski Quik Mart & Service Station at the corner of South
Pennsylvania Boulevard and East Northampton Street, police said.
    Bernhardt was knocked from his bike and suffered injuries to his hands and
arms. He was transported to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital for treatment.
   
Adelson told police she was not injured.
   
Bernhardt was cited for license class and inspection violations, police
said. He was wearing a non-approved helmet, police said.
   
The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
