For the last 13 years, employees at Highland Associates in Clarks Summit, have partnered with Friendship House, Scranton, to help children in need. This year, employees made a monetary donation to Friendship House so they can purchase items like iPads and laptop computers for the children they serve.

The mission of Friendship House is to provide a continuum of quality programs and services designed to enhance the emotional, behavioral and social well-being of children and families in the communities they serve. Today, well into its second century, Friendship House continues to grow and change in order to be able to address children’s needs in our ever changing society.

“Each year we look to Highland Associates to help to make the holidays special for our children – they never disappoint,” said Michael W. Bernhardt, director of corporate and foundation relations at Friendship House.

Highland Associates is a multi-disciplined architectural, engineering and interior design firm serving clients throughout the northeast.
