It’s another rainy morning in the Wyoming Valley, but the rain should be out of the area by tonight.
The National Weather Service indicated that it was 67 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. A steady light rain fell on the morning commute, and fog was reported in some areas.
Showers and possible thunderstorm are expected before 9 a.m. today, followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Some storm will have the potential to produce heavy rain, and up to a tenth of an inch of rain is possible today. Today’s high will be in the upper 70s.
Scattered showers are expected tonight before 9 p.m. Otherwise, mostly clear skies are predicted, with a low in the mid 50s.
Mostly sunny skies will return to the Wyoming Valley on Thursday, with a high in the mid 70s. Partly cloudy skies are expected on Thursday night, with a low in the lower 50s.
Mostly sunny skies are predicted once again on Friday, followed by mostly clear skies on Friday night. Friday’s high will be in the lower to mid 70s, followed by a low in the lower 50s on Friday night.
