The Abington Lions Club presented a check for $650 to the Abington Little League at Dino & Francesco’s Restaurant May 15. This check will enable the league to purchase a hot dog machine. The Lions donated a total of $1,050. They also sponsor two teams: Farm Little League and Junior Little League.


Other recent deeds from the Abington Lions Club include awarding two scholarships for students at Abington Heights High School and donating $550 to send a blind person - Julie Smiegal - to the Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind in Lewistown.
