    Robert Mead, 45, of Alberdeen Road, Mountaintop, died Sunday at the
Heritage
   
House Hospice, Wilkes-BarreBorn on Sept. 13, 1950, in Mountaintop, he was
the son of Rose Ginley Mead and the late Harry Mead.
   
A lifelong resident of Mountaintop, he was a 1968 graduate of Crestwood
High School.
   
He was a member of St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church, Mountaintop.
   
He was employed as a journeyman electrician and was a member of the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 163, Wilkes-Barre.
   
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Karen
Ramsey; a son and a daughter, Robert and Melissa, both at home; brothers,
James, Mountaintop; Thomas, Cartwright, Okla.; Paul, Wilkes-Barre; Harry,
Nanticoke; sisters, Rose Ziminsky, Kingston; Janet Keffe, Ashley; Kathy Green,
Mountaintop; several nieces and nephews.
   
The funeral will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Desiderio Funeral
Home Inc., 436 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop, followed by services at 10 a.m.
in St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Paul Mullen will officiate.
   
Interment will be in Albert Cemetery, Mountaintop.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Center,
Heritage House, 80 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre, 18702.
