George Timinsky

    George Timinsky, 90, of White Haven, died Thursday at St. Luke’s Manor,
   
HazletonBorn in Bear Creek, he was the son of the late Matthew and Eva
Paholich Timinsky.
   
He was a lifelong resident of the White Haven area.
   
Before retiring, he was employed by the former Atlas Powder Co. of White
Haven and Tamaqua.
   
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven, and of its former
Sacred Heart Society. He was a former member of the Freeland Elks.
   
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Michael, Nicholas, Joseph and
Frank; a sister, Mary Eder.
   
Surviving are his wife, the former Ella Hudock; sons, George, Clearwater,
Fla.; Peter, Shelby, Mich.; daughters, Mary Jackson, Quincy, Ill.; Ruth
Stemple and Alice Timinsky, both of White Haven; brothers, Alex and Matthew,
both of White Haven; John, Philadelphia; a sister, Helen Wallace, White Haven;
seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
   
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the Joseph E. Lehman
Funeral Home, Inc., 403 Berwick St., White Haven, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, White Haven, with the Rev.
Salvatore A. Bentivegna, pastor, officiating.
   
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
