The Catawissa Military Band will bring the sounds of Broadway to the stage
of the Alvina Krause Theatre for the second year in a row to benefit the
nonprofit Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble’s “The Show Must Go On” campaignThe
Tuesday, April 7 performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a post-show
reception following the program for all in attendance.
    Named for the program of songs from opera to musical theater, “From Vienna
to Broadway II” will feature show tunes spanning many years of music for the
stage.
   
Selections will include “Marriage of Figaro Overture,” a medley of Gershwin
tunes, as well as music from “My Fair Lady,” “Showboat,” “Les Miserables” and
“Cats.”
   
Now drawing members from all over the region, the Catawissa Military Band
is among the area’s oldest continuously operating musical organizations, with
