Police are looking for a hit-and-run vehicle that hit a stone wall on
Thursday. The vehicle is an off-white, mid-size Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth
with front-end damage. The vehicle was southbound on North Old Turnpike Road
in Drums when it hit a stone wall and was driven from the scene at 10:50 a.m.
Anyone with information is urged to call Butler Township police at 778-4111.

Berwick man faces DUI charge
A Berwick man was arrested on evidence of drunken driving after a traffic
stop on U.S. Route 11 on Thursday morning, said police. Harold J. Joline, 51,
of East Second Street, was charged with driving under the influence of
alcohol. Police said they saw his vehicle swerving in the southbound lane at
2:19 a.m. in West Nanticoke. Police made a traffic stop and arrested Joline.

Police probe act of vandalism
Police are investigating an act of vandalism at Krieger Auto Sales on East
Poplar Street in West Nanticoke. Police said a window on the building was
smashed before 5 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with information is urged to call
Plymouth Township Police at 779-5389. All calls will be kept confidential.
