The Cosmopolitan Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in St. Anthony’s Center. Host/hostesses have been notified.

Jenkins Township Seniors
The Jenkins Township Senior Citizens will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Jenkins Township Hose Company. President Jean Mudlock will preside.
Members are asked to bring their copy of the by-laws, since suggested changes will be discussed and voted on. Refreshments will be served following the business portion of the meeting. Bingo will follow.
St. Joseph’s Social Club
St.Joseph’s Senior Social Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 at Mt. Carmel’s Center on William St. in Pittston. The servers for this month are Gloria Migatulski, Maria and Chet Montante and Marion Licata. Dinner reservations will be accepted for the Christmas Party. Members should be prepared to pay in full for the party.

Pittston Adult Active Center
The Pittston Active Adult Center is located at 441 N. Main St., Pittston. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Free coffee is served from 8:30 a.m. to closing. The center now has Wi-Fi available as well as three computers with Internet access.
Exercise classes are offered five days a week free of charge. Zumba Gold is held on Tuesday afternoons for a fee of $2 for members and $3 for non-members.
Dance class, cards, shuffleboard, ceramic classes, crochet club, Wii bowling, needlepoint and much more are offered at the center. For more information, call the center at 570-655-5561.
Appointments are now being made for the open enrollment period for prescription drug plans. Those not satisfied with the plan may switch plans until Saturday, Dec. 7 without penalty.
A 4-hour AARP Safe Drivers Refresher Course will be offered at the center from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Pre-registration is necessary by calling the center at 570-655-5561. You must have taken the 8-hour course to register for this refresher course.
Flu Jeopardy with Connie will be held on Monday, Nov. 18.
A few seats remain for a trip to The Pines Dinner Theater on Thursday, Dec. 5. Cost is $72 which includes a choice of roast turkey or ham, penne pasta with Alfredo sauce or cheese ravioli, Christmas Show entitled “Walkin in a Winter Wonderland” and motorcoach transportation.
The Thanksgiving Special Dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21. Dinner reservations must be made by 1 p.m. at least one day in advance. Asking donation is $2.
Falls Active Center
The Falls Active Adult Center is located on Route 92 in Falls. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Friday, Nov. 22: Rhoda Tillman form Community Counselling will lead the group in “Holiday Trivia” at lunch.
Monday, Nov. 25: 11 a.m. to noon, Cecily Roe will give a wool spinning demonstration.
Monday, Dec.2: 9:30 a.m. to noon, Rose Brostoski will give an art class on painting Christmas ornament bulbs.
Tuesday, Dec. 3: 12:45 to 2 p.m. First Book Club meeting. The book to be discussed will be “Skipping Christmas” by John Grisham.
Friday, Dec.6: 1 to 1:45 p.m., Christmas program by tenor concert vocalist, Rev. Gideon Giatano.
