SOCHI SCENE: The hardware

(AP) Most Winter Olympic events end much like a horse race: Win, place, show. First, second, third. Gold, silver, bronze.

But in a few tournament-style events, like curling and hockey, silver medalists lose their last game while bronze medalists go home winners.

The U.S. hockey team can do that on Saturday night in a bronze medal game against Finland. Even though, as T.J. Oshie tweets, it's not the finale they imagined.

"Not the medal we wanted to be battling for but we can still take home some hardware. #USA," Oshie tweeted. See the tweet here:
