WILKES-BARRE — A 31-year-old Plains Township man delivering pizza to a residence on Andover Street late Saturday night was assaulted and robbed, city police said.

The delivery man was struck in the face by an unidentified man as he was handing the pizza over to another man, police said. The two men then took off toward New Grove Street, where one of the men began to drop the pizza boxes, according to police.

The victim gave chase and spotted a third man running with the other two, police said.

All three suspects remained at large Monday.
