UNION TWP. – State police at Shickshinny said they are investigating a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Cragle Hill Road around 8:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Thirty-year-old Robert J. Swinski, driver of a 2001 Ford Explorer, was traveling too fast for conditions on the snow-covered roadway, police said in a news release. His vehicle traveled off the east berm and hit a utility pole guide wire.

Swinski’s vehicle then overturned and rolled down an embankment, police said. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

Police said the driver was not injured in the crash.

HANOVER TWP. – Township police reported the following incidents:

Lisa Scoffone, of Mark Drive Marion Terrace, reported on Saturday that Joseph Dunaj, 25, of Luzerne, violated a protection from abuse order around 8:17 a.m. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
