Nanticoke Conservation Club’s annual Susquehanna River Bass Tournament on Saturday, June 28 (Heavy rain in New York increased the river level presenting muddy water and difficult conditions for anglers; 12 boats and 24 anglers participated):


1. Dan Byorick Sr./Dan Byorick Jr. - 7 lbs. 6.8 oz.


2. Chris Berger/Ted Smith Jr. - 6 lbs. 12.2 oz.


3. John Aten/Justin Aten - 1 lb. 15.8 oz.


Lunker - Dan Byorick Jr. - 2 lbs. 9.0 oz.


PA Bass Casters club tournament at Oneida Lake in NY on June 29:


1. Joe and Ken Kosloski - 5 fish, 16.62 lbs.


2. Joe Lasecki and Mike Musial - 5 fish, 15.67 lbs.


3. Manny Hicks and Jess Hicks - 5 fish, 15.61 lbs.


4. Andrew Johnson and Eric Tamot - 5 fish, 15.43 lbs.

PA Bass Bandits tournament at Harveys Lake on June 29 (Club president Neil Marcen reports a great topwater bite in the morning and then anglers switched to dropshot, crankbaits, spinnerbaits and Senkos after the wun came up. Marcen said there were a lot of healthy largemouth and smallmouth weighed in. Water temperature was 77 degrees):

The Suskie Bassmasters will host a Wednesday tournament each week on the Susquehanna River beginning June 18. The tournament will be held at the boat launch in Nesbitt Park and registration begins at 4:30 p.m. Launch is at 6 p.m. and weigh-in is at 9 p.m. For more information, visit:

The Harveys Lake Wednesday Night Bass Tournament will run weekly, from June 18 to Sept. 10. The championship round will include the top 30 anglers based on total weight over 12 weeks and will be worth $1,200. The lunker tournament (each angler weighing one fish) will begin at 6 p.m. with weigh-in at 9 p.m. at the launch. Registration is at 4:30 p.m. Entry fee is $15 with a one-time $10 fee to be eligible for the championship round.
