Ruth L. Welsh Sieg, 80, of Orchard Avenue, Montoursville, died Saturday at
home.
Born May 26, 1923, in Montgomery, she was a daughter of the late Ellis A.
and Martha L. (Travelett) Charles. She worked for Montgomery Mills and
Glamorise, Williamsport. She was a member of East End Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Erdin M. Welsh; and her
second husband, William B. Sieg Sr.; brothers, Harvey N., Cloyd, John, Chester
and Robert Charles; sisters, Emma Bartlow, Melissa Phillips, Mary C.
Southworth, Della Gelnett and Dorothy Rider.
Surviving are her daughter, Thelma Manning, Montoursville; a grandson, of
Larksville; three other grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home
Inc., 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Pastor Dan Leet officiating.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

Church, 801 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the Susquehanna
Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport.
