Holy Rosary School held a “Just Do More” Anti-Bullying Assembly recently. Eighth-grade students attended a presentation by John Halligan at Holy Redeemer High School. His riveting and powerful story motivated them to help raise awareness in other students about bullying and cyber bullying.
Under the direction of Mrs. Debbie Brady and Mrs. Lee, students utilized several avenues to convey the anti-bullying message. They made a video and wrote skits demonstrating bullying behaviors and positive ways that students could make a difference in our continuous efforts to insure that Holy Rosary School is a friendly and safe environment for every single student.
In support of Unity Day - Anti-Bullying Day, students wore orange on Wednesday, Oct. 9 as an outward sign to be kinder and unite against bullying. Eighth-grade students have also planned additional activities for the month of October.
