Anna I. Jones, 76, of Mill Hall, formerly of Benton, died Dec. 21 at home.
Born Dec. 28, 1926, in Belvidere, N.J., she was a daughter of the late
George T. and Iva Bartholomew Lambert. She was employed at May’s Department
Store, Mill Hall, Montgomery Ward, Carlisle, and the Bucktail Medical Center,
Renovo. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Renovo and
attended the Mackeyville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Reynold M. Jones; three
brothers and a sister.
Surviving are sons, Thomas C., Jersey Shore; Randy M., Lock Haven; eight
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Bredenberg, Southbury,
Conn.; and nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services were held Dec. 24 at the Mackeyville United Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Joe Lair officiating. Interment was in Bloomingdale
Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mackeyville United Methodist Church,
83 Fairground Road, Mackeyville, or to the First United Methodist Church, 127
Seventh St., Renovo.
