Little Sisters of the Poor to honor Msgr. Louis at annual golf tourney

The Little Sisters of the Poor will honor Msgr. John H. Louis at their 7th annual golf tournament June 8 at the Scranton Municipal Golf Course, Lake Ariel. Msgr. Louis is the pastor emeritus at St. Gregory Parish, Clarks Green and a friend to the Little Sisters of the Poor. Registration begins at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The format is captain and crew. Singles will be placed on a team. Cost is $100 per golfer which includes green fees, use of a cart, a tournament golf vest, a gift bag, a pre-tournament refreshment reception, a light meal and a post-tournament dinner. Golfers will also have a chance to win prizes based on their performance.
