Evelyn A. Kolc, 58, of Ashley, died Thursday morning in Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-BarreBorn in Wilkes-Barre, she was the former Evelyn Williams. She
was a graduate of Meyers High School. She was the owner and operator of Eve’s
Snack Bar, in the Wilkes-Barre Post Office. She was a former resident of
Blairstown, N.J., and Lee Park, Hanover Township. She had resided in Ashley
for the past seven years.
Surviving are her husband, John E.; sons, John E. Jr., Columbia, N.J.;
Ronald C., Ashley; daughters, Linda Shemory, Ashley; Donna Godish, Scranton;
three grandsons; aunt, Evelyn Enloe, Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Frederick and
Snowdon Funeral Home, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Donald
Hartshorne, pastor of Bethel Welsh Baptist Church of Wilkes-Barre,
officiating.
Interment will be in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township.
