Jaime Sekusky and Benjamin Herring were married on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at St. Joseph Marello Church, Pittston, by the Rev. Joseph Sibliano.
The bride is the daughter of Gloria and Joseph Sekusky, Pittston. She is the granddaughter of Louise and Herman Castellani, Exeter, and the late Dorothy and William Sekusky, Pittston.
The groom is the son of Sandy and Marty Herring, West Pittston. He is the grandson of Carol and Ken Connor, Florida, and Juanita and Royal Herring, Nevada.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and was presented at the altar with both her mother and father. She chose her friend, Nicole Vivalda, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lyndsay Ellis, Melissa Dolhon and Danielle Dolhon, cousins of the bride; Brooke Herring, sister-in-law of the groom; and Dr. Amanda Stevenson, sister-in-law of the bride.
The groom chose his brother, Randy Herring, as his best man. Groomsmen were Mike Sekusky, brother of the bride, and Sean Lampman, Bryan Pocceschi, Keith Ewonishon and Jake Holmes, friends of the groom. The bride’s son, Allan, served as the ring bearer.
Readings were given by Lisa Dolhon, aunt of the bride, and Bob Acacio, friend of the groom. Offertory gifts were presented by Sharon Ellis, godmother of the bride; Louise Castellani, grandmother of the bride; and Carol Connor, grandmother of the groom. Vocalist was Joelle DeLuca, friend of the bride’s family.
Following the ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception were held at The Hilton Conference Center in Scranton. The bride was honored at a shower hosted by the bride’s mother and bridesmaids at The Gallery at Pierce Plaza, Kingston. The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Marianacci’s, Wyoming.
The couple honeymooned on a seven-day cruise to the Bahamas.
