Mary Elizabeth Premo and Lee Bryant Faatz were united in the sacrament of marriage Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, in Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, by the Rev. Genaro Aguilar.

The bride is the daughter of Diane Premo, Dallas, and the late Timothy Premo. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Premo, Massena, N.Y.; the late Howard Premo; and the late Leonard and Helen Dinisi.

The groom is the son of Marlaine Faatz, Plains Township, and the late Ronald Faatz. He is the grandson of the late Bernard and Josephine Faatz and the late Lee and Cecilia Jerkins.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose, Karleigh Bowen, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janine Befort, cousin of the bride; Jessica Harley, cousin of the groom; Erin Faatz, sister-in-law of the groom; and Bonnie Burke, Kate Finnerty and Kathleen Muniz, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Mikayla Faatz and Madyson Faatz, nieces of the groom.

The groom chose his brother, Ronald Faatz Jr., as his best man. Groomsmen were Neil Harley, cousin of the groom; Jamie Harley, cousin of the groom; and Wesley White, Cory Mullally, Andrew Sabol, Joseph Price and John Burke, friends of the groom. Ushers were John Premo, brother of the bride, and Joseph Carr, cousin of the bride.

Scripture readings were given by bridesmaids Karleigh Bowen, Kate Finnerty and Jessica Harley. Offertory gifts were presented by the bride’s mother and groom’s mother.

An evening cocktail hour and reception were hosted by the parents of the bride at The Highlands at Newberry Estate, Dallas. The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by her mother, mother-in-law and bridesmaids at the Benjamin Harvey Inn, Harveys Lake.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services from The Pennsylvania State University in 2004 and a Master of Science degree in exceptionalities from Bloomsburg University in 2007. She is employed by Tunkhannock Area School District as a special education teacher.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. He is employed by PPL Electric Utilities as an electrician.

The couple honeymooned to Key West, Fla. They reside in Dallas and are expecting their first child in May.
