Gabrielle Rose Kushlan and Harrison Basil Russin were married Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at Three Hierarchs Chapel of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, Crestwood, New York. The Very Rev. Dr. John Behr officiated.

A reception was held at the Church of Our Saviour, Rye, New York.

The bride is the daughter of James and Heidi Kushlan, Paxtang, Pennsylvania.

The groom is the son of Basil and Shelley Russin, Kingston, Pennsylvania.

The bride was attended by her sister Madeleine Kushlan as the maid of honor. The best man was Alexander Russin, Esq., brother of the groom, along with his brothers Benjamin Russin and Edward Russin as groomsmen. The groom’s cousins, Gregory and Deborah Cross of Sharon, Pennsylvania, served as sponsors for the marriage.

The bride graduated from Central Dauphin East High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and French from Dickinson College. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in theology from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary.

The groom graduated from Wyoming Seminary and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Swarthmore College. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a doctorate in musicology at Duke University.

Following a honeymoon in Asheville, North Carolina, the couple set up housekeeping in Durham, North Carolina.
