Kaitlyn Elizabeth Coombs and Robert Matthew Gorski were united in marriage on Nov. 8, 2014, at St. Leo’s Holy Rosary Church, Ashley, by the Rev. Vincent Dang.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Kathryn Coombs, Hanover Township. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Coombs and the late Arthur Coombs, Nanticoke, and Betty Brown and the late Carl Brown, Wilkes-Barre.

The groom is the son of Robert and Mary Gorski, Ashley. He is the grandson of Clem and Mary O’Jevich, Warrior Run; John and Theresa Goldowski, Nanticoke; and the late Norbert and Anna Lou Gorski, Nanticoke.

The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father. Standing alongside the bride was her maid of honor and sister, Amanda Coombs.

The groom chose his brother, Ryan Gorski, as his best man.

Scriptural readings and intentions were given by Rylee Goldowski, cousin of the groom, and Sean Deats, best friend of the groom. Gifts were presented by Angela Howe, Samantha Zulkoski and Nicholas Decker, all cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception were held at Touch of Class, Wilkes-Barre.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her mother and sister at Touch of Class, Wilkes-Barre.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2011 graduate of King’s College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. She is employed at Luzerne Bank.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Bishop Hoban High School and a 2009 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, where he earned a degree in plumbing, heating and air conditioning technology. He is employed with M&L Mechanical Company. He also serves as a volunteer firefighter for Ashley Rescue Hose Company 1.

The happy couple resides in Hanover Township.
