Rose Kopcha and Leonard Karasek were united in the sacrament of marriage Saturday, June 29, 2013, in The Noxen Bible Baptist Church, Noxen, by the Rev. Joel Mitchell.
The bride is the daughter of the late Glenn Gee, Fort Worth, Texas, and Carol Koupinas, Sweet Valley.
The groom is the son of Leo and Anastasia Karasek, Shavertown.
The bride was given away in marriage by her great-uncle, Paul Taylor. She chose her sister, Anne Neaus, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tracey Eckhart, friend of the bride; Colleen Frantz, friend of the bride; and Ruthann Karasek, daughter of the groom.
The groom chose his best friend, Ruslan Sobiev, as his best man. Groomsmen were Leonard Karasek II, son of the groom; Ed Spera, friend of groom; and Andrew Kopeha, son of the bride.
Flower girls were Katie and Abby Mitchell.
Special music was performed by Carolyn Scull, friend of the bride.
A fabulous reception was held at Knights of Columbus, Luzerne, with music performed by Strawberry Jam.
The couple honeymooned to Marco Island, Fla. They reside in their new home in Sweet Valley.
