Micheline Elizabeth Horvath and Peter John Noon were united in marriage on June 28, 2013, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake, by the Rev. Daniel Toomey.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Linda Horvath, Hunlock Creek. She is the granddaughter of John and Stella Horvath, Nanticoke, and the late John and Lorraine Walkowiak, Lake Silkworth.
The groom is the son of Martin and Debbie Noon, Harveys Lake. He is the grandson of the late Thomas and Mrytle Noon and the late Donald and Marian Anthony, all of Dallas.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Jodi Spencer, as maid of honor. Her bridesmaids were Jess Noon, sister of the groom, and Erin Preuss, friend on the bride. Brooke Spencer, godchild of the bride, served as flower girl.
The groom chose his friend, Matthew Kehler, as best man. His groomsmen were Martin Noon, brother of the groom, and Nicholas Horvath, brother of the bride. Nathan Spencer, twin of the flower girl, and godchild of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Scriptural readings were given by Carly Hislop, cousin of the bride, and Natalie Jacobs, friend of the bride and groom. Offertory gifts were presented by Jess Noon, Martin Noon and Nicholas Horvath.
The bride and groom, along with their friends, enjoyed a bachelor/bachelorette weekend gathering in Atlantic City, N.J.
The bride was honored by a bridal shower hosted by the groom’s mother at her residence in Harveys Lake. An evening cocktail hour and reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, were held at The Highlands, Dallas.
A wedding rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at the Villa Roma, Harveys Lake.
The bride and groom are both graduates of King’s College with Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and economics. The bride is employed as a national bank examiner with the U.S. Treasury Department. The groom is employed as a sales representative with Fitness Headquarters. Wilkes-Barre.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They reside in Harveys Lake with their dogs, Gunnar and Lucy.
