Kimberly Attardo and Andrew Kipnis were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Plains Township, Pa. The ceremony was ofﬁciated by Diana Malast, family friend of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Barbara Attardo and the late Anthony Attardo, Pittston Township. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Margaret Pekarski and Margaret Attardo and the late Louis Attardo.
She is a graduate of Seton Catholic High School, a 2010 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, and a 2013 graduate of University of Baltimore School of Law. She was recently sworn in to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and is employed as a judicial law clerk with the York County Court of Common Pleas.
The groom is the son of Jon and Risa Kipnis, Columbia, Md. He is the grandson of the late Michael and Toby Cohen and the late Frank and Dorothy Kipnis.
He is a graduate of Altholton High School, a 2010 graduate of the University of North Carolina, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law. He is employed at Venable as an attorney in the real estate department
Given in marriage by her mother, Kim chose her cousin, Michelle Kepping, as her matron of honor and Nikki Pekarski, Casey Swift, Katie Walsh, Laura Hadsall, Suzanna Lemek and Rachel Kipnis as her attendants.
The groom chose his cousin, Josh Fox, as his best man and Harrison Brownley, Ryan Harrigan, Mario Medina, Eric Aronchick, Zack Glenn, Justin Pekarski and Tom Kepping as his groomsmen.
Readings were given by Carolyn Pekarski, bride’s aunt and godmother, and Valerie Eisenstein and Jackie Fox, both aunts of the groom.
Following the wedding the couple honeymooned for two weeks in Italy, Greece and Turkey.
