Slezak, Hall

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Swoyersville, was the setting for the marriage of Andrea Michelle Slezak and Frederick Joseph Hall on April 20, 2013. The Rev. Joseph J. Pisaneschi officiated the 1 p.m. nuptial Mass. Musical selections were under the direction of Marge Semanek and Kathy Kufta was the soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Slezak, Wyoming. She is the granddaughter of Natalie Zyla, Dunmore, and the late Helen and Louis Slezak, Wyoming.

The groom is the son of Rick and Anne Marie C. Hall, Plains Township. He is the grandson of the late Frederick and Margery Hall and the late Joseph and Jule Chopack.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father. She chose her cousin, Christina Padula, and her long-time friend, Amy Lynn Frederick, as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Goff, Emily Branson, Agnes Nash, Lynn Albertelli and Lisa Angelo.

The groom chose his lifetime friends, Dr. Christopher Grilli and James Evans, as his best men. Groomsmen were Christopher Crawford, John Gosciewski, Edward Evans, Brett Albertelli and Chuck Angelo.

Scriptural readings were given by Michele Cali, godmother of the bride, Deborah Padula, aunt of the bride, and Carol McNulty, family friend of the groom. The responsorial psalm was sung by Theresa Lukus, aunt of the bride. Offertory gifts were presented by Robert and Gloria Fenner, godfather and aunt of the bride, and Jack and Jane Chopack, godfather and aunt of the groom.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by the mothers of the bride and groom at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at Isabella’s Restaurant in Plains Township. An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at the East Mountain Inn by the parents of the bride. Music for the evening was provided by Group DeJour.

The bride is a graduate of Bishop O’Reilly High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems from Misericordia University and her Master of Health Administration degree from Penn State University. Most recently she completed her Master of Business Administration degree from Misericordia University. Andrea is employed by Northrop Grumman.

The groom is a graduate of Coughlin High School and a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in electrical engineering technology. R.J. is employed by UGI Corporation in the gas division.

The couple honeymooned at the Sandals Resort in the Grand Bahamas. They reside in Plains Township, Pa., and look forward to moving into their new home in Shavertown early in 2014.
