Lindsey Metcalf and Brian Charneski were united in marriage on June 22, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Church, Larksville, Pa., by the Rev. Gerald Gurka.

The bride is the daughter of Charles Metcalf, Warrior Run, and Diane Metcalf, Hanover Township. She is the granddaughter of Eiffie Metcalf, Warrior Run, and Audrey Wilke, Harveys Lake.

The groom is the son of Bernard Charneski, Kingston, and Janet Charneski, Larksville. He is the grandson of Anna Mae Chergoski, Edwardsville.

The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her parents. She chose her sister, Adrienne Metcalf, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Charneski, sister of the groom, and Mallory Cooper-Kreidler, Lindsay Dragon, Laura Williams and Jessica Granteed Cornia, all friends of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, Bernie Charneski, as his best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Smith, Gary Kraynak, Brian Cornia, Tim Dragon and Michael Williams, all friends of the groom.

An evening cocktail hour and reception were held at Celebrations at Sand Springs Golf Course in Drums. A blessing was given by Dana White, cousin of the bride. Lindsey was honored with a bridal shower given by her bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law at the Ramada on Public Square. The father of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Rodano’s, Wilkes-Barre.

Lindsey is a 2004 graduate of Hanover Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Marywood University, earning a bachelor’s degree in interior-design and architecture. Lindsey is employed by Raymour & Flanigan Furniture, Wilkes-Barre.

Brian is a 2001 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School and finished a five-year apprenticeship in the Electricians Local 163. He is employed by Arc Electric as a union electrician/journeyman.

Lindsey and Brian honeymooned for 10 days in Costa Rica, where they stayed at the Nayara and Riu Guanacaste resorts. The couple, who have been together since 2010, recently purchased a house in Plains Township, Pa., to begin their new journey together.
