Marie B. Felici, 90, formerly of Apple Street, Glen Lyon, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Guardian Elder Care Center, Sheatown, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Pond Hill on October 10, 1919, a daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha Lutz Ogin.
Marie was employed in the garment industry until her retirement.
She was a member of the ILGWU, Wilkes-Barre, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 539, Glen Lyon.
Marie was loved by everyone. She always had a smile and funny comment. She lived her life for her family and friends. She was always there for everyone, giving of herself in any way she could. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Felici Sr.; sisters Emma Remensnyder, Catherine Stein, Lula Klatko, Pearl Ogin and Harriet Felici; brothers John Bennett, Henry, William and Ira Ogin.
Surviving are a daughter, Harriet Ketcham, and husband Benjamin; a son, Peter Felici Jr., and his fianc�e, Denise Stavetski; four grandchildren, Ann Kotsko, Michelle Moran, Peter Louis Felici and Michael Felici; 10 great-grandchildren, John, Jared and Kaylee Kotsko; Seth and Lexy Felici; Connor and Colton Moran; Brooke, Lily and Rocco Felici; sister Ruth Milazzo; brother Ernest Ogin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., Glen Lyon, with the Rev. James Nash officiating. Interment will follow in the Italian Independent Cemetery, Glen Lyon. Family and friends may call today, from 4 to 7 p.m., and on Friday, from 9 to 10 a.m.
