So long sandals, hello boots. What’s that ladies? You need boots? Well then this is your lucky week.
Head over to the Bass store at the Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville to buy one pair of women’s boots and get two pair free. Or if sweaters are more your thing, the same offer applies. The deal is good through Wednesday.
Men, there’s no reason you shouldn’t accompany your female companion on the shopping trek. While she’s saving money at Bass, you can save some greenbacks at Izod. Nearly everything in the store is 50 percent off; then there’s an additional 10 to 50 percent off. And use this coupon to triple dip: http://f.chtah.com/i/27/2070758575/IZ-COUPON-NO-BARCODE.jpg. The coupon will give you additional savings as long as you spend $50 or more.
I’ve found that I usually enjoy the idea of going to Sonic more than the experience of eating there but that all changed when I took a jaunt to satisfy my craving for cheesy tater tots and came across quite the tasty deal. You can get four crispy chicken strips, french fries, a slice of thick Texas toast, a side of country gravy and an onion ring plus a medium drink, for $3.99.
Want to pack a lunch? Here’s a cheap but tasty option. Log on here: http://www.johnmorrell.com/BOGOCoupon.aspx and fill in the information to print a buy-one, get-one free coupon for John Morrell “Off the Bone” lunchmeat tubs. Go to Gerrity’s where you can buy Maier’s Italian Bread buy-one loaf, get-one loaf free.
Check out the coupons in today’s inserts. Denny’s has a trio of buy-one, get-one free offers; and Quiznos has a few goodies, too. The Quiznos page also introduces a new two-for $5-deal. Pick any two bullets, sammies, small chopped salads or bowls of soups, mix and match.
And cut out some more coupons while you’ve got the scissors in hand. Use the $1 off Nature’s Bounty vitamins coupon at CVS or Price Chopper where that brand’s products are buy one, get one free.
Also at CVS, Arizona Iced Tea bottles or cans are buy one, get one free. Since they’re already priced at 99 cents, you can stock up on eight days’ worth of tasty teas for $4.
By the way, I got to thinking about how expensive it is to take your kids out to eat. I mean it’s often $5 or more for macaroni and cheese or some chicken nuggets. Well, many places have begun offering Kids Eat Free nights. Smokey Bones does it Monday nights from 5 to 7. TGI Fridays does it all day Wednesday.
I’m hoping you, the faithful reader, can share some of the other local establishments that have this kind of a deal. Please send them to me at aseder@timesleader.com or call me at 829-7269 and I will run them in a future column.
