Donald Trump has spent 2017 fomenting hate, misogyny, climate change denial, xenophobia and fear. And it was only his first year in office.

What will the future look like after a full four-year term?

From appointing climate change denier Scott Pruitt as head of the EPA, to announcing his intention to pull the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement and signing executive orders to relax rules on coal mines polluting rivers and streams, revive offshore oil drilling and gut the EPA, Trump’s presidency has been downright horrifying.

He is staffing the Department of Interior and EPA with fossil fuel industry insiders in order to fulfill his agenda of deregulating the energy industry, giving more public money to Big Oil and Gas and opening up our public lands to fossil fuel development.

Friends of the Earth (FOE) are moving forward to resist our Bully-in-Chief. FOE with a broad coalition of concerned citizens and activists has managed to win key victories.

FOE will help defend our planet in court as Trump has already been undoing some of the greatest environmental victories.

FOE is already making positive change at the state and local level by building a powerful grassroots effort to train citizen-activists from around the country. They have pressured Home Depot and Lowe’s into removing pollinator-killing pesticides from their shelves.

FOE is working globally and uniting with international allies and is one chapter of an international federation of diverse grassroots-based environmental organizations in 75 countries. Together we can work in solidarity for sustainable, equitable and just societies, and in the next four years, to work to ensure the U.S. cannot become a rogue actor on the global stage.

Contact Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and demand that they commit to making the fight for our planet a top priority.
