“Kids Around The World,” A Multicultural Kids’ Festival to benefit Timmy’s Town Center will be held Sunday, September 20, at Scranton High School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are on sale beginning August 20. Cost is $5 for advance ticket sales and $7 at the door on the day of the event.
Children under two are free. Buy tickets at: The customer service desk at The Steamtown Mall; Most locations of the Lackawanna County Library System; The Bethany Library; Wayne County Library and The Tunkhannock Library.
Participating countries include: Germany, Mexico, Italy, Dominican Republic, Ireland, Uruguay, Guatemala, Cuba, U.S.A, Sweden, India, England, Japan, Australia, China, France, Israel, Caribbean.
Events and activities include: handson art projects; ethnic dancing instruction; musical entertainment; story time; craft demonstrations; ethnic food; singalongs; origami; and, visits from Crescendo the Friendly Dragon, a Steamtown National Park service Ranger and Hobo and local entertainer Bill Frye.
Receive a passport that’ll take you around the world. A stop at each country will earn you a stamp on your passport, and with a filled passport a free admission to Timmy’s Town Center.
