Book Fair to benefit children

Wyoming Valley Children’s Association will hold a Book Fair from 9 a.m.to 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 8 at Barnes & Noble, Arena Hub Plaza, Wilkes-Barre. The local nonprofit agency will receive a percentage of all sales made with a special voucher that day at the store. The public is invited to join in the fund raiser. Vouchers can be obtained by calling Wyoming Valley Children’s Association at 714-1246.

Activities planned for the day include a book signing and reading by children’s author Patricia Thomas at 2 p.m. and a musical performance and CD signing by Father Jim Paisley at 4 p.m.
