Friends of the Mary Kintz Bevevino Library and Barnes and Noble have teamed up to host a book fair to benefit the Misericordia University library on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Arena Hub Plaza store in Wilkes-Barre Township.
Anyone who presents a special Misericordia/Barnes and Noble book fair voucher during the event will have a percentage of their net sale donated to the Mary Kintz Bevevino Library by Barnes and Noble. Vouchers are available by stopping in or calling the Misericordia library at (570) 674-6225. They will also be available upon request at the Friends of the Bevevino Library table in the store on the day of the event.
Entertainment will be provided by the Misericordia Players, which will present a modern day spin on a classic fairy tale at both 10 and 11 a.m. Magician “Tony the Great” will perform from 12-2 p.m., followed by face painting and animal balloons for children from 2-4 p.m. There will also be a drawing for a chance to win a basket of chocolates from Ah! Some Chocolates.
