Bus trip planned to New York City

West Pittston Library and West Pittston Historical Society are planning a New York City holiday bus trip fundraiser.

Pack your hat, gloves and holiday spirit for a day trip to New York City on Thursday, December 10. For $25 enjoy a relaxing Martz bus ride to the city where you can join a historic church group tour, or choose from self-guided tours for architect enthusiasts, museum go-ers and shoppers. Of course, you can always grab a map and do your own thing.

The bus will pick you up at the Atlas Building on 4th and Pacific Ave. in West Pittston at 6:45a.m. and make sure you’re well fed with Sweet Caroline’s muffins and well caffeinated with Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. The bus will depart from NYC at 6:30 p.m.

The historic church group tour is limited to the first 12 people and the bus trip is limited to 55 people. Payment is due at signup; all proceeds benefit the West Pittston Library and the West Pittston Historical Society.
