Make & Take, Books & Bagels Oct. 11 at library
Make & Take, a drop-in, do-it-yourself craft project for kids of all ages, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pittston Memorial Library. Children can stop in and make a fun Halloween craft (while supplies last).
Books & Bagels, Pittston Memorial Library’s adult book club, will meet on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. to discuss Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Caf� by Fannie Flagg. Stop by the circulation desk to pick up a reader’s guide and check out a copy of the book. New members are welcome. Coffee and bagels will be served.
Pittston Memorial Library is located at 47 Broad St. Pittston; telephone number is 654-9565. Hours are Monday and Thursday, 12 noon to 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
