Pittston Library lists upcoming programs

Books & Bagels, Pittston Memorial Library’s adult book club will meet on Saturday, October 17 at 10 a.m. to discuss Dracula by Bram Stoker.

Stop by the circulation desk to pick up a reader’s guide and check out a copy of the book. New members are welcome. Coffe and bagels will be served.

Hangout @ Your Library, Pittston Memorial Library’s young adult book club for high school students, will meet on Monday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.

Copies of this month’s selections, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and The Last Apprentice: Season of the Witch by Joseph Delaney, are available at the circulation desk for checkout.

Pick one or read both. Snacks will be provided. Call or visit the library to register.

The library’s annual Halloween Party for children in grades K through 8 will be held on Monday, October 26 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Put on your costume and come to the library for tales, treats, creepy crafts, and Boo Bingo. Registration is necessary and space is limited.

Library hours are: Mondays and Thursdays, 12 noon to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
