Cosmo Seniors meeting Tuesday

The Cosmopolitan Seniors next meeting is Tuesday, June 16, at 1 p.m. at St. Cecelia’s parish center in Exeter. Vic Malinowski will preside. Hosts and hostesses are Regina Battaglino, Dolores Bubblo, Theresa Menhennett, Mary Patrick, and Frances Petkovyat.

Sixty one members attended the previous meeting. Vice President Joe Kleback led the group in prayer, pledge of allegiance, and a patriotic song. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Terri Mislan, and Amy Alpaugh reported on the treasury. President Vic introduced Lynnmarie Young who spoke briefly about the opening of the new West Wing in “The Village at Greenbriar,” distributed some literature, and provided favors. Plans for a hoagie lunch party on July 7 were announced. Reservations may be made at the meeting. Refreshments were served after the meeting and Bingo was played. Door prizes were awarded. The Bingo Jackpot winner was Theresa Menhennett.

Trip Coordinator Johanna is planning a trip to Atlantic City in July. Reservations are also being accepted for a trip to Myrtle Beach on October 4 to 10. This trip includes transportation, accommodations at a beach front hotel, meals and entertainment including Dixie Stampede. Call 655-2720 for details. All trips are open to the public. It is not necessary to be a member to come on trips.
