Local young artists honored for artistic excellence

Local young artists were honored for their artistic excellence. The students in kindergarten through sixth grade exhibited their best artwork at the School’s End Exhibit at Sue Hand’s Imagery, Dallas.

Ribbons of Artistic Excellence were awarded to outstanding artwork on each grade level, kindergarten to fourth grade. Students in fifth and sixth grades competed for first, second, and third place ribbons in each category on each grade level. Best of Grade Level rosettes were awarded on all grade levels, as well as special awards which were judged across grade levels for Best Still Life, Best Landscape, Best Seascape, etc. The students study under the direction of award winning artist Sue Hand.
