A woman committing such a crime? Generally the cops would have arrested the 15 year old boy for a sex offense against the woman. What is it with law enforcement? Are they no longer under the thumb of the politically correct special interest groups, in this case the feminist groups.

OMG! This is simply gross! SHe has kids herself..I know she has always been quite loose but this is beyond discusting! If she were a man and this was a 15 year old girl people would deff be more upset and as a mother of two boys I say lock her up and throw away the key she is a sexual predator.

it's sexual contact with a minor---it should not be based on gender. the woman in question should be considered a sexual predator/child molestor, and be given the same punishment that a man would get.

This is awful, but another reason as to why parents MUST monitor their child's social interactions more carefully. Kids nowadays could text/myspace/facebook anyone they please. I was informed that the woman has 2 children... will she now have to register as a sex offender?

I'm totally shocked! I know Janelle and her family and I just can't believe what I am reading. My heart goes out to her kids. I am 26 years old and would never think of having sex with a 15 year old. I hate to say it but she knew what she was doing was wrong and she should be punished.

This woman is gross, the fact that she will get a slap on the hand and will be able to still keep her kids is a problem of society. If this was a male he would be in jail forever and lose every thing.. I hope something gets done about this.. And a feminist group will say she was assulted by this 15 year old boy and ruin his life..

I do agree Beth. Most 15 year old boys are having sex and I don't think in any way will he be mentally scarred by getting sleeping with a 25 year old. But it is still against the law and she should have none better. Geez you need to get laid go out the to bar anywhere in the valley and pick up some ADULT loser. I'm sure there would be many guys more then willing to take her in the back seat.

Personally I think the woman/underage boy issue is overlooked and downplayed in society. A minor is always taken advantage of in this situation. Usually by making him dependent on the adult, who in turn, knows she can control him.

This sounds like the California case from years back. It involved a women named Mary Kay Leterneau and a 13 year old boy. She bore his first child was prosecuted, then violated the terms of her probation and bore his second child. She only spent six years in prison. This Luzerne county women will probably get off with community service! Everyone else gets away with murder in that county, why should she be any different.

I'm not blaming it on social networking. Clearly, if the woman had a proper head on her shoulders, this never would have happened. The point I'm trying to make is that it is much easier now, than it has been historically, for parents to be in the dark about a child's social life. I know that my parents would have put an abrupt stop to my conversing with a 25 year old if I were 15. Be careful out there, kids!

Something to think about: I live in TX and have a 20 yr old cousin. He had sex with his 16 yr old girlfriend (I know that's sick!). He's looking at 20 yrs in prison for statutory rape. The girl admitted that she willingly has sex with him,but he still may go to prison. The logic is that as a minor she couldn't legally give consent, just like this 15 yr old BOY couldn't give legal consent!! This lady should have got a grown man!! I'm sick of hearing about how a woman can have sex w/a minor and it's ok but if a man does it he gets decades in prison. In both instances BOTH have committed statutory rape and should go to prison for decades!!
