Marywood University graphic design student, Shannon Zekoski, of West Pittston, was the recipient of the Student ADDY Award under the direction of Assistant Art Professors Chris Medley and Kevin O’Neill.
The Northeast Pennsylvania Advertising club coordinates the ADDY competition and application process for the regional students including the two levels of competition; professional and student. The ADDY awards are the world’s largest advertising competition with over 60,000 entries annually submitted. The ADDY awards recognize all forms of advertising, from types of media to entrants from various levels around the world. The American Advertising Federation conducts the ADDY Awards through its 15 districts and 200 member clubs. It is the sole award program in the advertising industry.
