In what has become and Independence Day tradition, the City of Pittston and Borough of West Pittston will present a fireworks display tonight beginning at dusk. Called “Fireworks over the Susquehanna” the annual event draws thousands to the riverfronts of the city and the borough and to the Firefighters Memorial Bridge which is closed to vehicular traffic for the event. The event is free of charge and all are welcome.
